The Importance of the Takeaway

I find that a lot of guys really put a lot of time and effort into learning routines and lines to say to woman. Learning routines is good and will definitely help your game, but I wonder what things might be like if guys focused more on what’s really important: The Takeaway. Takeaways are what actually drives the seduction. Think about it… You can spout all the best DHV stories, deliver the best banter lines, and perform the best IVDs and none of these will actually get the girl if you don’t do takeaways!
All the routines, DHVs, banter lines, IVDs are really designed to do one thing: Get her to start chasing. But she will not do this until you do a takeaway. A woman has to feel like she is chasing you for a seduction to go properly: She does NOT want to be chased! This is what most guys do and we all know most guys suck at attracting women.
The best way to incite a woman to chase is to do many takeaways. She will begin to get the feeling that she must really like you or else she wouldn’t be working so hard for you.
The good news is…. Takeaways can be the easiest thing to do as soon as you become confident in yourself and begin to project the inner belief that you are the prize to the world. This is a key point. A lot of guys will parrot cocky and funny routines [which typically have a verbal takeaway element to them], but deliver them in a reaction-seeking manner, thus nullifying the takeaway element of the routine.
Think of this…. What is a False Time Constraint? A preemptive takeaway. A banter line? Often a verbal takeaway. A Neg/Disqualifier? A takeaway. But the more subtle takeaways are even more important…. What about doing a backturn…. or looking away like you are distracted when she starts giving indicators of disinterest? Takeaways.
A woman is not going to feel compelled to chase you unless she feels some sort of loss by not pursuing you. You have to build this by being a high value guy…. then doing a takeaway.
Guys, you can actually do lame routines and as long as you are sufficiently high value and do frequent takeaways, she will chase you to the end of the earth….Start practicing takeaways now!

Awesome reminder. I was using takeaways as a kind of “ingredient”. Like, “oh, this pickup needs a little takeaway.”
But now I see it’s a fundamental element that runs through all aspects of game – verbal and nonverbal.
One thing I’m working on is setting up a sexual frame. I can make the other thing setting up a chase frame.
I’m a student of Doc Love’s “The System”, and I fully agree with your assessment of the “takeaway”.
Doc Love calls it Challenge, and for a guy, it essentially refers to the “Level of difficulty to win him over”.
Challenge is a KEY ingredient that RAISES a woman’s interest level in a guy. The other two key ingredients are Confidence and Control.
If either of these ingredients is absent, the woman’s interest level eventually drops.
A woman with a high interest level will always be available for him, laugh at his corny jokes, and basically do anything to make him happy (and this includes satisfying him in bed).
But when her interest level drops, the SAME woman might start saying that she “needs more space”, or telling him how stupid his jokes are (conveniently forgetting that SHE herself used to laugh at them earlier), and basically make excuses for everything.
Hence, it is very important to CONSISTENTLY practice Confidence and Control and CONSISTENTLY being a Challenge.
