The Dreaded 2-Set

Here is a situation that came up the other day when I wanted to sarge a woman in a 2-set with….her mom! My attraction game is getting super-tight these days and since I open the entire group getting attraction and compliance with the entire group is simple. I typically am ready to isolate my target in under 3 minutes now. But what do you do if she is in a 2-set and you have no wing? Why I’ve Ditched “Opinion” Openers

Everyone seems to love opinion openers. Hell, I used to use them myself…almost exclusively. But I’ve come to the realization, that opinion openers are shit! They were designed so that a guy could enter a set and not convey interest in the target, and to a certain extent they do just that. The problem is that they don’t often lead to anywhere seductive, except perhaps some clumsy transition into DHV stories [that she's probably not going to be able to hear in a loud club] and other ‘attraction’ routines that often include parroting other’s experience or identity. They can work, but I think they are often a bit try-hard and unless you are a master of subcom and are truly interested in the opinion you are asking her for, she will see through this silly ruse of asking her “if she flosses before or after she brushes.” Read more

Death to “Peacocking”!!

One of the most misunderstood and misapplied terms in the pickup community [besides "Negging"] is Peacocking. The problem with the term is that a lot of guys hear about it, then they go out and either copy little bits and pieces of other people’s peacocking -OR- they just add any gaudy piece to their ensemble and call it peacocking. I’m gonna do a quick plug for this book although I thought it would be a cold day in a Mexican’s ass when I’d ever recommend a book from Oprah’s Book o’ the month club: especially one that waxes all spiritual. Guys, get your bitch asses on Amazon and order Eckhart Tolle’s “The Power of Now” [TPON]. I’m only 3/4 through the book, but let me tell you the profound difference this book is making. I kind of tune out all the spiritual mumbo-jumbo, but the rest has really been totally effective. Read more
